Description:
The Nanyang Polytechnic Campus is situated on a 30.5 hectares site near the Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5/Avenue 8 intersection. There are 15 buildings in the campus with varying heights of 3 to 10 storeys. Besides housing the School of Engineering, School of Information Technology, School of Business Management, School of Health Sciences, there are also a Central Administration Block, a Student Activity Centre, a Sports Complex and 3 blocks of staff housing.
Project Highlights:
Typical column grids of 6.0 meters in one direction and varying from 6.0 meters to 15.0 meters in the other direction.
Buildings are founded on bored piled foundation.
Typically one-way prestressed concrete slab supported on prestressed concrete beams or reinforced concrete beams.
