Description:
This outdoor stadium located within the Shah Alam Sports Complex is elliptical in plan with a diameter of 1,000ft and has a seating capacity of 75,000. The crescent-shaped roof structures are supported only along the outer edge of the stadium. The structural system for the grandstand consists of precast bleachers supported on concrete frames while precast double tees elements are used for the five floors located behind the grandstand.
