Description:
Caribbean at Keppel bay is a residential plot of 969 units of condominium. This development consists of 22 blocks varying from 4 to 10 storeys, landscape deck on the 1st storey and one-level of basement carpark.
 Project Highlights:
Shoreline is regularized using open-ended caissons (8 to 11 meters in height) with cast-in-situ concrete base and sand fill. The base of the jacket is designed to rest on hard strata of SPT N=60. Buildings are founded on bored piles ranging from 600mm to 1000mm in diameter and varying from 6 meters to 22 meters in depth on Jurong formation. Typical structural floor system comprises of 150mm thick flat slab supported on 175mm thick RC perimeter walls. Loads from these walls are transferred onto 2.0 meters deep transfer beams at the environmental deck and supported by columns at regular grids.
